Building traffic to your site is one of the hardest but most important thing your blog needs. if you really want your targeted readers to find your blog then implement the following and your blog will grow fast and consistent. Although without this method, you can still get traffic but long term one. this method is simply called Paid Advertising. And below are the two major ones that works perfectly.
1. Facebook Ads
Facebook is another great community to advertise your blog or website through their paid advertising program called Facebook ads. it works just like Google Adword but second to Google in terms of site visitors per day. that is a lot of people that can be reached through a simple Facebook ad. To set it up, you obviously need a Facebook account. Once you log in, you can get started right away.
To set up an ad that will send people to your website, click on the “Create an ad” link on the right hand side of your home screen. or visit http://www.facebook.com/ads/adboard/
You will be directed to a design tool to get started on your ad. You will be asked for your blog or website URL, a title for your ad, an image, and some body text. You can even see suggested ideas by clicking the “Suggest an Ad” button during your ad creation. it is fast ans simple.
Once you are satisfied with the way your ad looks, you will have to choose a target demographic and see your ad’s estimated reach. You can choose a budget and time period for your ad as well.
NOTE: With Google, you choose keywords that people will be searching for relating to your ads but with Facebook, you only choose the type of people Facebook will send your ads to.
2. Google Adword
Google Adword is the most simplest and prominent among other platforms which you may purchase a Paid Per Click ads. it works just like Facebook ads but with some few differences. making Facebook ad as the number ways of generating traffic in my post does not mean Facebook ads is the best because the best is based on your individual experience and comparison.
To get started with Google ads, log in to www.google.com/adword from there you can you can then move on to create your first ad campaign. Basically, you will bid on keywords that are most relevant to your business, and then pay Google a certain amount for each time someone clicks on your ad. You’ll need to decide an overall budget and a Cost-Per-Click (CPC) rate that you are willing to pay.
Maybe for example you decide to spend like only $50 a day, and you are willing to pay $5 for each click, then Google will run your ad until you reach 10 visitors. You can easily track results and determine how and when you need to change your ad.
